(Friday, October 10, 2003)Kill Bill Volume 1, an action/thriller film about a former member of an assassination team who seeks revenge on her ex-colleagues who massacred members of her wedding party and tried to kill her, opened today in U.S. theaters.

Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the film starred Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, David Carradine, Sonny Chiba, Julie Dreyfus, Chiaki Kuriyama, Gordon Liu and Michael Parks.

(Wednesday, September 24, 2003)Concert for George, a documentary film about the Concert for George, a tribute concert for George Harrison held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Nov. 29, 2002, the first anniversary of Harrison’s death, premiered tonight at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.

Directed by David Leland, the film featured performances by various rock stars and musicians including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton.
