(Wednesday, December 22, 1976) — Inspector “Dirty” Harry Callahan and his female partner hunt rocket-armed radicals holding the mayor on Alcatraz in The Enforcer, an American action thriller and the third in the Dirty Harry film series which opened today in U.S. theaters including the Criterion and Flagship theaters in New York City.

Directed by James Fargo, the film starred Clint Eastwood, Harry Guardino, Bradford Dillman, Tyne Daly and DeVeren Bookwalter.
