(Wednesday, January 19, 1994) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney gave a speech tonight during John Lennon’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, 13 years after the ex-Beatle’s murder.

“John Lennon you’ve made it,” said McCartney. “Tonight you are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”
