Video: 'Mr. Deeds Goes to Town' trailer
(Thursday, April 16, 1936, 10:00 a.m. EST) — Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, a screwball comedy about a small-town poet who has to deal with the corruption of city life when he inherits a fortune, opened this morning at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
The film was directed by Frank Capra and starred Gary Cooper, Jean Arthur and George Bancroft.
