(Thursday, July 7, 1988) — A Fish Called Wanda, a British-American heist comedy film about four crooks who pull off a daring heist, then plot to double-cross each other, premiered today at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Directed by Charles Crichton, the film starred John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin.
