Video: 'The Beatles Yellow Submarine'
(Tuesday, July 16, 1968, evening BST; during sessions for The Beatles, also known as “The White Album”) — The Beatles attended the world premiere of their animated musical fantasy comedy film Yellow Submarine tonight at the London Pavilion on Piccadilly Circus.
The band’s third feature film was directed by George Dunning.
Besides the original pop/rock songs in the soundtrack, the real Beatles participated only in the closing scene of the film, while their cartoon counterparts were voiced by other actors.
