Video: 'The Defiant Ones' trailer

(Wednesday, September 24, 1958, doors scheduled to open at 9:30 a.m. EDT) — The Defiant Ones , a crime film which tells the story of two escaped prisoners, one white and one black, who are shackled together and who must co-operate in order to survive, opened today at Victoria Theatre in New York City.

Directed and produced by Stanley Kramer, the film starred Sidney Poitier and Tony Curtis.
