(Tuesday, December 10, 1968, evening EST) — Mrs. Rose Kennedy, in a tribute tonight to her assassinated son, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, told more than 1,000 political and family friends, “I know I shall never see his likes again.”

Mrs. Kennedy and her sole surviving son, Senator Edward M. Kennedy, Democrat of Massachusetts, spoke briefly at a $1,000-a-couple dinner in Boston to raise funds for the presidential campaign deficit of Bobby Kennedy, who was assassinated in Los Angeles in June after winning the California presidential primary.
