(Friday, January 3, 1969, 10:55 a.m.-7:00 p.m. BST) — The second day of rehearsals for the Get Back/Let It Be sessions, intended to form the basis for both a television documentary and a new album, saw the English rock group The Beatles play a number of songs today at Twickenham Film Studios in London, many of which were rough versions of rock ‘n’ roll oldies, improvisations and numbers from the Lennon-McCartney back catalogue.

During a rehearsal for “All Things Must Pass” George Harrison received two electrical shocks while touching his microphone.
