(Thursday, January 29, 1969) — The Beatles gathered today at Apple Studios in London for the 17th day of rehearsals for the Get Back/Let It Be sessions, intended to form the basis for both a television documentary and a new album. 

The Beatles had finally decided to perform a concert the following day on the roof of their Apple headquarters.

Each of the five key songs played on the rooftop – Get Back, Don’t Let Me Down, I’ve Got A Feeling, One After 909 and Dig A Pony – was performed once during this session.
