(Saturday, May 19, 1979) — Two former members of the rock band The Beatles, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, were jointly interviewed today in Circuit, Monaco, by Jackie Stewart and a roving camera team from ABC’s Wide World of Sports covering Monaco’s Grand Prix.

At one point, Harrison refers to Starr’s recent intestinal problems relating to his childhood bout of peritonitis. He had almost died during an operation in mid-April 1979 in which several feet of intestines were removed from his body.
