Created by Frank Peppiatt and John Aylesworth, the series starred Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Archie Campbell, Roy Acuff, Gordie Tapp, Grandpa Jones, Junior Samples, David “Stringbean” Akeman, Lulu Roman, Minnie Pearl and Don Harron.
