(Sunday, June 15, 9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT) — Hee Haw, an American television variety show featuring country music and humor with the fictional rural “Kornfield Kounty” as a backdrop, debuted tonight on CBS.

Created by Frank Peppiatt and John Aylesworth, the series starred Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Archie Campbell, Roy Acuff, Gordie Tapp, Grandpa Jones, Junior Samples, David “Stringbean” Akeman, Lulu Roman, Minnie Pearl and Don Harron.
