(Friday, November 28, 1969, 8:30-11:00 p.m. BST) — Ringo Starr of The Beatles completed recording “Stardust” tonight at EMI Studio 2 in London for his debut solo album Sentimental Journey.

Starr added second lead vocal, not for double-tracking purposes, but to give a choice of lead vocals to select from. The two versions can be heard overlapping in the final mix at the one-minute mark.
