(Saturday, April 11, 1970, 12:18 a.m. EST) — American rock band The Doors performed the second of two shows tonight at the Boston Arena in Boston.

The show was scheduled for 10:00 p.m. but The Doors did not not actually start performing until past midnight. The late start ended with the venue’s owners cutting power to the stage to force the end of the concert.

The Boston concerts were among the band’s several live performances professionally recorded between July 1969 and May 1970 for the group’s first live album Absolutely Live, released July 20, 1970.
