(Wednesday, September 17, 1980, starting at 2:00 p.m. EDT; during sessions for Double Fantasy and Milk And Honey) — Former Beatle John Lennon, who returned to the recording studio last month after a five-year absence for what would turn out to be his final studio albums, Double Fantasy and Milk And Honey (both with his wife, Yoko Ono), completed “Woman,” “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)” and “Clean Up Time” today at The Hit Factory in New York City.

Lennon taped an acoustic guitar part and added his lead and background vocals to “Woman,” his lead vocals to “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)” and “Clean Up Time.”
