“Get On The Right Thing” was the second song taped during the sessions. Overdubs were added in subsequent sessions in March-April 1971, but the track was left off the Ram album when it was released May 17, 1971. Instead, it was mixed on Jan. 21, 1973, and released on McCartney’s album Red Rose Speedway album on Apr. 30, 1973.
The basic tracks for the Ram album, officially credited to Paul and Linda McCartney (McCartney’s wife), were taped through Nov. 20, 1970, with overdubs and mixing completed by May 1971.
