(Wednesday, November 26, 1980) — Former Beatle John Lennon, who had just released (with his wife, Yoko Ono) Double Fantasy, his first studio album in five years, was filmed today strolling in New York City’s Central Park (with Ono) for an unspecified promotional project.

Lennon and Ono were also filmed tonight (7-11 p.m. EST) Sperone Westwater Fischer Gallery in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan, where a large white bedroom has been specially created for the couple to be filmed undressing, kissing and simulating sex on a bed.

It is the last publicly known moving images taken of Lennon before his Dec. 8, 1980, murder.
