(Sunday, November 30, 1980) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his group Wings held a third rehearsal session today at Pugin’s Hall on Appledore Road, Tenterden, in Kent, England, for the band’s next album.

Instead of a recording a new Wings album, McCartney decided to record a third solo album, starting in Dec. 1980, and announced on Apr. 27, 1981, that Wings were no more.
