(Thursday, January 21, 1971; during sessions for Ram) — Paul McCartney today overdubbed the distinctive standup bass part (performed by Milt Hinton) onto “Little Woman Love” at A&R Studios in New York City, during sessions for Ram, his second album without The Beatles.

Recording of “Little Woman Love” began on Nov. 13, 1970, at Columbia’s Studio B at 49 East 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.

Instead, it was mixed on Nov. 10, 1971, at EMI Studios in London and released as the B-side of the “Mary Had A Little Lamb” single by his new group, Wings, on May 12, 1972 (the “Early Mix” version was mixed July 13, 1971, at A&R Studios).
