(Saturday, February 27, 1971) — “What Is Life,” the second solo single by former Beatle George Harrison, debuted at #66 on today’s Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

“What Is Life” was issued as the second single issued in the U.S. from Harrison’s 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass, released Nov. 27, 1970, Harrison’s first solo work after the break-up of the Beatles in April that year.

In Britain, “What Is Life” appeared as the B-side to “My Sweet Lord,” which was the best-selling single there of 1971.
