(Tuesday, July 20, 1971) — John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, today on/near a lake on the grounds of their Tittenhurst Park estate near Ascot, England, for their 70-minute Imagine TV film, designed to promote Lennon’s Imagine album and Ono’s album, titled Fly.

The original “Imagine” documentary would not air until Dec. 23, 1972.

Several scenes filmed today were eventually included as scenic video for a promotional video for Lennon’s song, “Jealous Guy.”
