All 65 people aboard Flight 175 were killed, including 49 passengers, 11 crew members and 5 hijackers.

The plane took off from Boston’s Logan International Airport at 8:14 a.m. EDT. It had been taken over by five terrorist hijackers (between 08:42 and 08:46 a.m.) in a series of four coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda on the United States, collectively known as the September 11 attacks.
