(Thursday, March 23, 1972) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British–American rock band, Wings, recorded “Thank You Darlingtoday at Olympic Sound Studios in London, during sessions for what would become the group’s next album, Red Rose Speedway.

The track would be mixed this month, but cut from the album’s Apr. 30, 1973, release and would go officially unreleased until 2018.
