(Saturday, January 27, 1973) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British–American rock band, Wings, completed recording the song “My Love” with light overdubbing to beef up the backing vocals today at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in London, during sessions for the group’s next single and next studio album, Red Rose Speedway.

The bulk of the track had been recorded the previous night, Jan. 26, 1973, with overdubs applied today. It was also mixed today for initial release as a single on March 23, 1973, in the UK (Apr. 9, 1973, in the U.S.).
