  1. Actually, the single was at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles for 11 non-consecutive weeks. It left the chart after 45 weeks. It was the biggest first-week sales of any single since elton John’s Candle in the Wind…the best selling single in 2003.

  2. Love this song and video! It doesn’t feel like 10 years ago when I first saw it. Clay has an amazing voice and I enjoy all of his music.

  3. Clay has a truly unique and wonderful voice. He sounds like no one else in the music industry today. Shame radio doesn’t play his songs — why? His On My Way Here CD has some great music — check it out.

  4. Thank you for commemorating “This Is The Night” #1 charting position on this date, June 28th, 2003. Love the song; and, a huge Clay Aiken fan. Unbelievable voice on this man then and now. Thanks also for posting the video clip.

  5. Love the voice, the video and the man. Would love to see and hear him more often. His voice is incredible and just as an incredible a humanitarian. He can sing anything and sounds good.

  6. Cool watching this again. Love Clay’s voice. He’s put out some really great albums over the years. Unfortunately not played on the radio…but you should really check them out. I love them all.
