(Monday, November 25, 1963, afternoon GMT) — The Beatles mimed to “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “This Boy” this afternoon in Studio 4 at Granada TV Centre in Manchester, England, for the Dec. 20, 1963, 6:30 p.m. airing of Scene at 6:30 on Granada TV.

The backdrop of the stage set contained enlarged fictitious headlines from the Daily Echo.

The group was interviewed on the same set by presenter Gay Byrne and Liverpudlian comedian Ken Dodd.

The footage was used in the Nov. 27, 1963, edition of Late Scene Extra, which was broadcast from 11:45 p.m. to midnight GMT, and in the 20 December 20, 1963, edition of Scene At 6.30.
