(Good Friday, April 19, 1935, 3:00 p.m. PST) — Bride of Frankenstein, a horror film about Baron Frankenstein who is forced to tempt fate once again by creating a suitable mate for his monster, premiered today in San Francisco.

Directed by James Whale, the first sequel to Frankenstein (1931) starred Boris Karloff with Elsa Lanchester in the title role.
