(Friday, April 2, 1976) — The single “Silly Love Songs“/”Cook of the House” by ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and his British-American band Wings was released today in the U.S. (Apr. 30, 1976, in the UK), the first single from the group’s album Wings at the Speed of Sound.
