(Saturday, July 9, 1966) — The Monkees completed the core tracking for the made-for-TV rock/pop music band’s first two recordings today at RCA Studio A at 6363 Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, including “This Just Doesn’t Seem to Be My Day” and “Saturday’s Child.”
