(Friday, September 24, 1976) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and members of his British-American band Wings emerged from their hotel today to ride through Venice’s canals in a gondola ahead of their charity concert to help restore the sinking city on the third stop of the third European leg of their 65-date Wings Over The World tour.
