Video: 'Ringo Starr in Copenhagen 1976'

(Wednesday, September 29, 1976) — Former Beatle Ringo Starr visited Copenhagen today as part of a promotional tour for his new studio album, Ringo’s Rotogravure.

Starr held a press conference at the Plaza Hotel before being taken on a bicycle ride through the streets of the Danish capital. He visited several historic buildings during the outing as television cameras followed him.

The day’s filming ended with Starr playing a game of billiards.

The footage appears to have been filmed for Danish television, possibly for a program called Lørdagsjørnet, although that identification has not been definitively confirmed.
