Video: 'GEORGE HARRISON - The Best Of George Harrison (Full Album) (1976)'

(Monday, November 8, 1976) — The Best of George Harrison, a compilation album by English musician George Harrison, was released today in the U.S. (Nov. 20, 1976, in the UK) following the expiration of his EMI-affiliated Apple Records contract and just 11 days before the former Beatle’s debut on his Warner-distributed Dark Horse label, Thirty Three & 1/3.

Uniquely among all of the four Beatles’ solo releases, apart from posthumous compilations, it mixes a selection of the artist’s songs recorded with the Beatles on one side, and later hits recorded under his own name on the other.
