(Sunday, September 17, 1978, 8:00-11:35 p.m. EDT)Holocaust, NBC’s saga of two German families caught in the Nazi terror, and All in the Family, a comedy series about America’s favorite bigot, won top honors tonight at the 30th Primetime Emmy Awards tonight at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California.

Holocaust won six major awards, including Outstanding Limited Series.

All In The Family also won six major awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

The Rockford Files won Outstanding Drama Series.

The ceremony was interrupted for thirty minutes by a nationally televised address by U.S. President Jimmy Carter, joined by Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in which Carter announced the signing of the Camp David Accords.
