Video: 'Night of the Living Dead' trailer

(Tuesday, October 1, 1968, 8:00 p.m. EDT) — Night of the Living Dead, an American independent horror film about seven people who are trapped in a rural farmhouse in western Pennsylvania, which is besieged by a large and growing group of “living dead” monsters, premiered tonight at the Fulton Theater in Pittsburgh.

Co-written, directed, photographed and edited by George A. Romero, the film starred Judith O’Dea, Duane Jones, Marilyn Eastman, Karl Hardman, Judith Ridley and Keith Wayne.
