(Tuesday, November 3, 1970; during sessions for Ram) — Paul McCartney today recorded “Oh Woman, Oh Why” at Columbia’s Studio B at 49 East 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, during sessions for Ram, his second album without The Beatles.

“Oh Woman, Oh Why,” mixed Feb. 5, 1971, did not appear on the original release of Ram, but appeared as the B-side to McCartney’s single “Another Day,” first released Feb. 19, 1971 in the UK.

The basic tracks for the Ram album, officially credited to Paul and Linda McCartney (McCartney’s wife), were taped through Nov. 20, 1970, with overdubs and mixing completed by May 1971.
