(Tuesday, August 6, 1963) — The Beatles were filmed today ahead of the first of four concerts on Jersey, an island in the English Channel off the northwest coast of France, at the Springfield Ballroom on Janvrin Road in the parish of St Saviour.

Home movie footage shot today show members of the British rock music band relaxing around the swimming pool at the Revere Hotel.

Some fans had discovered where they were staying, but the group was happy to chat and be photographed.
