(Thursday, August 25, 1966, 8:00 p.m. PDT) — The Beatles held what turned out to be their last ever joint press conference tonight in Seattle, between performing two shows at Seattle Coliseum (afternoon and evening) on the 12th stop of The Beatles’ 1966 US tour.

It would also turn out to be the last time the group would ever perform twice in one day (they would appear for their second show at approximately 9:30 p.m. PDT).
Each of the four Beatles were also interviewed separately today at Seattle Coliseum by local radio personality Dusty Adams.

After tonight’s second show, The Beatles were due to fly back to Los Angeles on an 11:00 p.m. PDT flight, for two more days of rest. Their departure however was delayed by five hours after one of the airplane’s wheels was found to be worn out and in need of replacement).
