(Monday, August 29, 1966, 5:45 p.m. PDT) — The Beatles arrived today at San Francisco International Airport for what would turn out to be the group’s final concert on the 14th stop of The Beatles’ 1966 US tour.

After they arrived at the venue, Candlestick Park, it is believed that John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were interviewed by Lee Darling of WTRY-AM, Albany, New York.
