(Thursday, August 29, 1968, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. BST; during sessions for The Beatles, also known as “The White Album”) — The Beatles completed John Lennon’s “Dear Prudence” tonight at Trident Studios in London, recording various overdubs.

It was the second of two tracks The Beatles completed without Ringo Starr, who temporarily left the group on Aug. 22, 1968.
